Obstruction of Base, Indians vs. Mets

Who knew their could be conflict on the field during a T-Ball game! I wanted to take a minute to explain the occurence of events on Saturday during the Mets game! It was the bottom of the last inning and we were ahead! I can't remember the exact score. The Indians had 2 outs...we just needed one more out to win the game! The third out was called on first base by the umpire closest to first base. Then, the other umpire over ruled the call due to obstruction to the base.
There are 2 options to the Obstruction of Base Rule:

Option 1: He can raise both hands, call "DEAD BALL OBSTRUCTION".. at that time the ball is dead, all players stop.. The runner that was obstructed with is awarded one extra base.. and all other runners are awarded one base past the last legal base they touched.
2nd Option: The umpire lets the play finish and all runners advance AT THEIR OWN RISK! After the play is over, time is called, and the obstructed runner is awarded one extra base.
Option 2 is what happened. ... they never stopped play, and Andrew tagged both runners out because they were trying to advance on their own. However, Option 1 is what the umpire went with; therefore making us go back on the field to get another third out, which was really the 5th out by this time. It's all in fun...I just wanted to take a minute to explain a few of the details!
