Congrats to all of our little Indians for playing hard for the Wins! A Big Congrats to Bubba for catching a fly ball during the Dodgers game and another big Congrats to Morgan Jones for making 2 outs in one inning! Way to use your head Morgan!
Indians vs. Marlins Highlights!
Just a few things that I jot down that Coach Derek says during the game!
Dylan Mack! That was a good hit right there! You betcha! Got Dylan a triple! Congrats Dylan!
That's how you run the bases! Congrats to Kalem for the improvement on running hard to first base!
That's how you swing the bat! Nice Swing Logan May!
And the main highlight from the Indians vs. Marlins game was the 3 outs made by Brant McSwain on the Marlins team. That little guy is in Pre-K. He caught a fly ball then ran to both bases for 3 outs in one play! Even though it was 3 outs against us...it was something to see, and the little fella deserves a big ole Indians Congrats!

Awesome Catch Zachary Shoultz! Caught the Pop Up and then made the second out by tagging the runner! Way to go Zachary!
Abedn and Wyatt teamed up for a couple outs at first base!
Brody hit a double and Caleb hit a triple!

Grand Slam Wyatt! Kuddos to my little fella! He was very excited. He says Daddy did you know that was a Grand Slam....then he says momma did you see all the bases were loaded...that's why it was a grand slam!
And a big ole Indian Shout out to Bubba! Congrats on the Homerun Bubba!

Another One Bites the Dust! Indians beat the White Sox 6 to 21!

Indian Highlights!

All of our LITTLE INDIANS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF HITTING THE BALL!

Zachary Shoultz made a beautiful throw to 1st for the out and

the most exciting highlight of the game.......

~Grant fielded a ball and then tagged the runner at third for his very first out!

And the Priceless High Five afterwards....I so wish I had a picture of that!

Barrett gave him a heart felt high five! He was truly proud of Grant for making the out! We're all proud of you Grant! Way to go Grant! Keep up the good work!

Dug Out Shot! They will remember the fun and learning experiences they have on the field, but they will remember the cut up time in the dug out too!

Tuesday, April 27th

Tribe comes through with another W for the books! 19 to 7 against the Marlins

It was fun to watch the swicth, the outfielders coming in the play the infield and learning a little bit more about the sport we call baseball!

INDIAN HIGHLIGHTS!
A BIG INDIAN shout out to Caleb Munzey for making his very first home run! He's been hitting good lately, but mostly getting a triple out of those hits, but this time, he had a little bit more power behind that hit, he made it in for a HOME RUN! Congrats Caleb!

Way to Go Dylan! Dylan tagged a runner for his very first out! AWESOME Dylan!

Good Fielding Barrett and Grant!

Grant played third base and Barrett played short stop! They teamed up together and did an awesome job of stopping those balls!

We will not be participating in the tournament this weekend. It's an LPR USSSA Tournament that you have to pay to be in, and we won't be paying to enter the tournament. So, feel free to plan a beautiful Mother's Day Weekend away from the ball field!

Folks, it was another nail biter as the Indians went head to head with the Cubs for the 4th time this year! The Indians prevailed with a Win 21 to 13
GEEEAAAAAUUUUUXXXXX INDIANS!

And as the Chief tells them after the game!

I'm proud of each and everyone of you. Every Indian did a great job hitting the ball, but it was making the outs that won the game! Outfielders, you did an outstanding job of getting the ball back into the infield and Infielders, you hustled for the outs! It was a real team effort!

Indian Highlights

3 Great Throws Ball was hit behind 2nd base, Logan threw the ball to 2nd baseman Morgan Jones, Morgan threw to third baseman Abedn Kennedy, where the out was almost made. Then, Abedn threw to Bubba for the out at homeplate!
Kuddos to little Brody! Brody made some great throws into the infield. Brody is serious about this teeball. He's fearless about it! Love that about him! In case you didn't know, little Brody is only 4 years old!

Grand Slam Wyatt! Way to go Wyatt. Great hit! Way to bring home those runs!

Almost Morgan! Morgan almost caught a fly ball! You'll get it next time Morgan!

The Indians Celebrated another win against the Dodgers Friday night.

It was a wet rainy night for baseball, and our tribe was smaller than usual, but our boys pulled through with a win, 3 of our little Indians (Morgan, Logan, Grant) were home with the stomach bug, and Abedn was enjoying himself at Sea World!

A BIG Congrats to Caleb Munzey for making the outs Friday night! Caleb not only made his first out, but he made 2 more right after that! Caleb played 2nd base and did a bang up job! Also made a triple that night! Caleb was on fire!
Homerun Derby for Wyatt! Wyatt hit 2 homeruns Friday night! Those homeruns cost me! 2 sweat bands out of the vending machines!

A Big Thank you to Hunter Bethel from the Braves team! We were one Indian short and Hunter gladly stepped in and made a big contribution Friday to our win! THANK YOU HUNTER!
