Nail Biter!

That was a close one, FUN and close! the boys had a great time. I think we'll be in first place for the start of the tournament on Saturday. Looks we'll play at either 12 or 1:00. I will confirm that as soon as I know.
Indians vs. The Cubs April 7th

Win 21 to 19. Website say 20 to 19, but I keep the book, and we had 2 runs come in!

Congrats to Abedn for making good throws to Wyatt for a total of 3 outs at first base! Way to catch the ball Wyatt!
Way to Go Bubba (That's Zach Stewart's Indian name!) great stop on the mound! Way to get in front of that ball! You stopped the runner at first base!
Abedn almost caught a fly ball! Maybe next time!
Kalem did a good job of making throws to 2nd base to stop the runners!

Logan, Barrett, Grant, Dylan, and Brody all did a great job of keeping the momentum going...hitting the ball and getting on base! Keep hitting it hard and running super fast boys!
Morgan Jones and Zachary Shoultz had AWESOME hits! Keep that up boys, we need that!
We missed you Caleb, we'll see you Saturday!

And a big thank you to my lovely photographer for the evening, Miss Madelyn Morgan! Like I said, I have a hard time keeping the book and snapping pics, but she did manage to get a few!

We played our first game of the LPR opening tournament against the Dodgers and we won 17 to 10!

Congrats to all the Indians for putting their best foot forward! It was fun to see the outfielders come in to play in the infield during the last inning! You will see that a lot! We want them to have fun too and learn all positions!

I'm a little mad at myself for not having pics to post, but it's hard for me to take pics and keep the book, so if you take pics, please send to me and I'll be glad to post to the blog!

2nd Game Scheduled for Thursday,
April 8th 6:00PM against the Cubs.
Please be at the field for 5:45PM

Hubba Bubba in the Dug Out!
I'll have gum for all the players after the game in the dug out!

Kool Aid Club!

I will also have Kool Aid in the dug out for the kiddos. If you would like to help out with the Kool-Aid just pick up a pack and give to me, we always need cups too! They get hot in that dug out!

Take a Minute to Label Everything! You pay good money for that equipment!

We want to get it back to right person!

Check it often! Look under teams for Derek Morgan's name. This is where the game schedule will be posted, when they post it!
Couple pics from the LSU vs. Georgia game we attended last weekend! If you haven't been out to the new stadium, it's worth the drive! You never know, maybe one of our little Indians will be out there one day!

I blogged for the Tball team last year, and everyone seemed to enjoy it, so I will do it again and I will do my best to stay on top of it! But, if you can help with the pics, that would be great!

Final Post

And, there they go LPR Indians '09. We had a great season. All of the boys greatly improved and most importantly they all had fun! Thanks to the parents for making sure the kids showed up and were on time! We wish Emmett, Coley, Dylan G., Micah and Andrew well as they all move to Coaches Pitch next year! Good Luck Boys!

Congrats to Emmett for making an out on third base during our last game! Way to Go Emmett! Keep Practicing for next year!

A Big CONGRATS to Andrew for making the '09 LPR All Star Team! Andrew, we wish you well, Have Fun!

A farewell poem for our little Indians!

Abedn liked to knock one out of the park
Logan will one day make his baseball mark

Andrew was our T-Ball Hero you see
Barrett was the best T-Ball Player he could be

Dylan G could hit either way
Emmett could hit that ball any day

Micah caught his very first fly ball
Wyatt slid into basing, giving his all
Dylan Mack learned not to sling the bat
Ethan had the coolest hitting hat

Kalem learned the sport for the very first time
Karson Jones a lefty....truly a rare find

Coley concentrated at the T
You were all the best Indians you could be
Some will say goodbye to good ole T-Ball
And move to Coaches Pitch, where the Ump will make the call!
We've all had a good time at the LPR Park
We hope we've helped with your baseball start

I had to put a picture of my little Madelyn on here! She keeps saying how come I'm not on the internet! She says she's ready for t-ball next year.... She'll probably be the one in the DIRT!

Few Final pics!

This was my very first blog, and I do hope everyone has enjoyed this blog as much as I have. Derek will try to coach T-Ball again next year and I'll be blogging again! I know Wyatt has enjoyed seeing the pictures on the computer! You were all wonderful, we had a great season...we'll see you at the parks in 2010!

Tribe Headlines

Our last tribe gathering will be this Thursday, May 21st. We play the Diamondbacks. After the game, we will have trophies for all of the players. They have worked hard for their trophies... Bring your cameras for some final pics!
Please be at the field for 6:40PM

The boys played hard against the A's, but came up short again. Final Score was 18 to 19, but they still had fun. It's hard to dampen an Indian's spirit!

Nothing like coming in to home plate!

Woo Hoo Micah! Congrats to Micah for catching a fly ball during the A's game! How exciting! To the left is a pic of Micah making an out during the Mets game!

Oh So Close!

So, it shall be that we lost to the Mets AGAIN by 1 point....11 to 12....AGAIN....and possibly because of a bad call on the third out of the game...AGAIN! Nothing to get upset about....as my husband says...it's just t-ball....the boys had fun and they have all learned a great deal and have improved ever so much! Here's a pic that Mrs. Lucia took of that ever so famous 3rd out.

Congrats to Abedn for catching another fly ball and then turning around and getting another out on third base! I'm sure that was Abedn's first double play! Congrats Abedn!

Karson Jones and Logan May to the left! We play our next game Monday, May 18th against the A's. We lost one time to them and we won one time, so this one will be interesting. Please be at the field for 5:30PM on Monday.

Thought it would be fun to post some of the T-Ball Talk that we hear in the stands!

"Keep your eye on the ball"

"Don't look at us, Look at the Ball"

"Throw the Ball"

"Alright Indians!"

"Stop the Ball"

"$5 for a Home Run"
"Make a Run Son"

"1 More Out!"

"Hit it just like momma told you to.....
"Momma Talk"

"Hit it to the Moon"

"Run"

" Get There"

"HomeRun Baby"

"Listen to Your Coach"

"Get Em Andrew"

"Be Ready"

"Watch the Ball"

That's what our voices are saying but our hearts are gleaming with gladness and soaking up the memories, for our little fellas are growing up.
