Congrats to our Little Indians

LPR Indians hit the ground running on Saturday with a WIN for our 1:00 game against the Marlins, and we were thrilled to be in the Championship game and had high hopes for 1st place, but fell a little short! That's okay, we'll get those Cubs next time, The boys were very excited to get their second place trophies!

Gotta give a big CONGRATs to Bubba Zach for catching his very first fly ball! We don't have a pic, but we all remember! How exciting was that! Way to go Bub!

Infield is doing a great job of making good throws over to first base. It's just a beautiful sight to see! Well, maybe it's more beautiful to me b/c it's my child who's catching at first base! But, we all cheer for the outs, anyway we can get them!

Three's a Crowd on Third!

Bats! We would like all players to bat with their own bat.

The reason is: They are use to the bat they practice with at home and that's the weight they are use to swinging. They all weigh a little bit different. Of course if you don't have a bat, we for sure don't mind sharing!

Next Practice is Wed. April 14th 5:00PM Field A.

If you can't get there at 5:00, come as soon as you can. We will only have the field until 6:15PM.

Indians Vs. Cubs Saturday, April 17th 10:15AM Field A.

Nail Biter!

That was a close one, FUN and close! the boys had a great time. I think we'll be in first place for the start of the tournament on Saturday. Looks we'll play at either 12 or 1:00. I will confirm that as soon as I know.

Win 21 to 19. Website say 20 to 19, but I keep the book, and we had 2 runs come in!

Kalem did a good job of making throws to 2nd base to stop the runners!

Logan, Barrett, Grant, Dylan, and Brody all did a great job of keeping the momentum going...hitting the ball and getting on base! Keep hitting it hard and running super fast boys!

Morgan Jones and Zachary Shoultz had AWESOME hits! Keep that up boys, we need that!

Our tribe can together in early March, and we've been practicing hard in preparation for our first game!

We played our first game of the LPR opening tournament against the Dodgers and we won 17 to 10!

Congrats to all the Indians for putting their best foot forward! It was fun to see the outfielders come in to play in the infield during the last inning! You will see that a lot! We want them to have fun too and learn all positions!

I'm a little mad at myself for not having pics to post, but it's hard for me to take pics and keep the book, so if you take pics, please send to me and I'll be glad to post to the blog!

2nd Game Scheduled for Thursday,

April 8th 6:00PM against the Cubs.

I'll have gum for all the players after the game in the dug out!

Kool Aid Club!

I will also have Kool Aid in the dug out for the kiddos. If you would like to help out with the Kool-Aid just pick up a pack and give to me, we always need cups too! They get hot in that dug out!

Couple pics from the LSU vs. Georgia game we attended last weekend! If you haven't been out to the new stadium, it's worth the drive! You never know, maybe one of our little Indians will be out there one day!

I blogged for the Tball team last year, and everyone seemed to enjoy it, so I will do it again and I will do my best to stay on top of it! But, if you can help with the pics,that would be great!
