Woo Hoo Indians!

Monday, April 26th 8PM
vs.

Folks, it was another nail biter as the Indians went head to head with the Cubs for the 4th time this year! The Indians prevailed with a Win 21 to 13
GEEEAAAAAUUUUUXXXXX INDIANS!

And as the Chief tells them after the game!

I'm proud of each and everyone of you. Every Indian did a great job hitting the ball, but it was making the outs that won the game! Outfielders, you did an outstanding job of getting the ball back into the infield and Infielders, you hustled for the outs! It was a real team effort!

Indian Highlights

3 Great Throws Ball was hit behind 2nd base, Logan threw the ball to 2nd baseman Morgan Jones, Morgan threw to third baseman Abedn Kennedy, where the out was almost made. Then, Abedn threw to Bubba for the out at homeplate!
Kuddos to little Brody!
Brody made some great throws into the infield. Brody is serious about this teeball. He's fearless about it! Love that about him! In case you didn't know, little Brody is only 4 years old!
Grand Slam Wyatt! Way to go Wyatt. Great hit! Way to bring home those runs!
Almost Morgan! Morgan almost caught a fly ball! You'll get it next time Morgan!

vs.

The Indians Celebrated another win against the Dodgers Friday night.

It was a wet rainy night for baseball, and our tribe was smaller than usual, but our boys pulled through with a win, 3 of our little Indians (Morgan, Logan, Grant) were home with the stomach bug, and Abedn was enjoying himself at Sea World!
A BIG Congrats to Caleb Munzey for making the outs Friday night! Caleb not only made his first out, but he made 2 more right after that! Caleb played 2nd base and did a bang up job! Also made a triple that night! Caleb was on fire!
Homerun Derby for Wyatt! Wyatt hit 2 homeruns Friday night! Those homeruns cost me! 2 sweat bands out of the vending machines!

A Big Thank you to Hunter Bethel from the Braves team! We were one Indian short and Hunter gladly stepped in and made a big contribution Friday to our win! THANK YOU HUNTER!

How Sweet it is........... to be an Indian!

What a game! Indians walk away with another win! 20 to 19 against the Braves. Can these games get any closer!

Little did everyone know, if we had tied a kid's shoe or wiped someone's nose, we would have been home atleast 20 minutes earlier! 1 minute left on the ump's clock, and we had to start the last inning. Ump tried to sway Thiel to let it be, let it be! Gotcha singing that song now, but he wanted to play another round! So, we did and boy was it an exciting one!

Magical Gloves vs. The Braves! Wyatt and Abedn accomplished their very first double play! Abedn threw to Wyatt for the out at first base and then Wyatt threw it back to Abedn for an out at third! Very exciting baseball for 5 and 6 year olds! Congrats to Wyatt and Abedn! In case you didn't know, they are cousins! They must have been on the same cousin wavelength Tuesday night!

The start of our last bat, we were down by 2, but we were in the middle of our line up. Morgan Jones had a good enough hit to get on base, and then Wyatt walks up and hits a beauty of a homerun to score Morgan and himself to win the game! How Sweet it is to be an Indian!

I did manage to snap a few pics. My flash was on, but they were dark, so I put some kind of paint effect on them to make them a little bit better, still not that great! So Sommer bring your camera for Friday!

Barrett and his Dad at first base! Talk about something sweet, everyone take a minute to watch Barrett when he comes across home plate! He's so excited and proud of himself and that smile warms your heart! I know Momma Keri is savoring every minute of that!

Dylan, Down and Ready!

I think that's Dylan, Barrett and Kalem! Way to be watching guys. Your response time is improving!

Congrats to our Little Indians

LPR Indians hit the ground running on Saturday with a WIN for our 1:00 game against the Marlins, and we were thrilled to be in the Championship game and had high hopes for 1st place, but fell a little short! That's okay, we'll get those Cubs next time, The boys were very excited to get their second place trophies!

Few Pics and Highlights!
Tongue Tied! They're gonna eat a bug one day!
Morgan, Abedn, Wyatt!

Making Good Throws!
Kalem

Morgan
Zachary Shoultz

Bubba

Meeting at the Mound!
I said Wyatt, what does Daddy tell ya'll in those meetings. He says I don't remember!
Typical for a 6 year old!

Making the Out!

Gotta give a big CONGRATs to Bubba Zach for catching his very first fly ball! We don't have a pic, but we all remember! How exciting was that! Way to go Bub!

Infield is doing a great job of making good throws over to first base. It's just a beautiful sight to see! Well, maybe it's more beautiful to me b/c it's my child who's catching at first base! But, we all cheer for the outs, anyway we can get them!
Miscellaneous Pics!
Grant
Brody
Caleb
Dylan, Kalem, Grant
Barrett.....Way to Watch that Ball!
Morgan
Three's a Crowd on Third!

Bats! We would like all players to bat with their own bat.

The reason is: They are use to the bat they practice with at home and that's the weight they are use to swinging. They all weigh a little bit different. Of course if you don't have a bat, we for sure don't mind sharing!

Upcoming Dates to Remember!
Next Practice is Wed. April 14th 5:00PM Field A.
If you can't get there at 5:00, come as soon as you can. We will only have the field until 6:15PM.
Indians Vs. Cubs Saturday, April 17th 10:15AM Field A.
